Located on the Greek island of Paros is a recent renovation by Buerger Katsota Architects, which took two aging rental studios and have transformed them into the ultimate holiday homes. The new homes are ultra modern with a minimalist style. However, their sleek design is also steeped into traditional traditional Cycladic architecture. The bedrooms of these homes are unconventionally placed on the ground floor, enabling the living spaces upstairs to enjoy amazing views of the sea.
Outdoor living was also a key consideration in the design of this complex. The home is positioned to reduce exposure to harsh sunlight and winds, and the exterior is wrapped in a slatted pergola to help guests enjoy the outdoors all year.
