One notable feature is that the dock now supports more than just Microsoft laptops. Thanks to its USB-C connection, speeds of up to 40Gbps are possible, as well as 96W charging, which makes it compatible with iPads, MacBooks and other Surface tablets. It also has three USB-A ports, an audio jack, a security lock, and a 2.5 gigabit ethernet port.
