The Sony Xperia 5 V is the brand’s new flagship phone, packed with an advanced camera setup, long-lasting battery, and plenty of features to maximize entertainment.
Xperia’s high-performance camera system includes a dual-camera setup on the rear, with a main 48MP 24mm f/1.9 camera and a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera. The front-facing camera is 12MP. In addition to using Sony’s advanced optical hardware, aspiring content creators will enjoy advanced features like HDR recording, eye-tracking, “Creative Look” color presets, and a new Video Creator app that automatically creates a final video based on your choice of shots and music.
The Xperia 5 V has a 6.1-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and has 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. It also has a 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W wired fast charging and wireless/reverse wireless charging.
There’s no word on US pricing or availability just yet, but it is expected to be priced slightly higher than Xperia 5 IV which costs $1,000.
