Sony unveiled a new controller for the PlayStation 5 that gives gamers an extensive array of customization options.
Borrowing features from the likes of Scuf and Xbox’s Elite controllers, the DualSense Edge wireless controller features customizable buttons for remapping, stick sensitivity adjustments, multiple control profiles, changeable stick caps and back buttons, replaceable stick modules, and a braided USB-C cable designed to lock into the controller to keep the plug secured when charging.
There’s no confirmed release date or pricing yet, but at Gamescom Sony promised to bring more details on the DualSense Edge controller, “in the months ahead.”
