The Ray is Sonos’ smallest sound bar, and their entry-level option into their streaming ecosystem. At 22 inches wide, the Ray is perfectly sized for smaller to medium sized rooms. It’s aimed at those looking for a way to simply enhance the dialogue and audio of their favorite movies, TV shows, and games.
Despite its compact design, the Ray does feature Sonos’ excellent Trueplay tuning technology, which adapts the speaker’s acoustics to any room. Plus, it is compatible with the Sonos app, connecting you to all the streaming services you could possibly use in once place so that you can listen over Wi-Fi. It’s even got plug-and-play setup with an HDMI-ARC connection.
The Sonos Ray is available for pre-order now with shipping scheduled for June 7. At just $279, it’s an affordable way in Sonos’ whole-home eco-system.
