If you’ve already got a Sonos system, or if you’re looking to upgrade, you’ll be pleased to know that there’s now a cheaper model available in the Era 100.
The new $249 smart speaker can be used standalone to deliver stereo sound, but also paired with another Era 100 for even larger sound with in a home cinema set-up. It includes some of the advancements showcased in the Era 300, such as Bluetooth connectivity and Trueplay for Android users, but it’s fundamentally a remaster of the successful Sonos One. Era 100 features a pair of angled tweeters for greater sonic reach, and a mid/bass driver that’s 25 percent larger than the one found in the Sonos One.
Like other models in the Sonos range, the Era 100 is available in black or white finishes. You can grab either here right now with shipments starting at the end of the month.
