Designers at Surround Architects nailed a minimalist yet warm vibe in a home overlooking Boulder, Colorado. The stark concrete exterior blends seamlessly into the landscape high in the hills.
Two steel chimneys rise from the home like a pair of rabbit’s ears, which lends the structure its name. The concrete exterior gives way to a bright, warm interior that has a mix of white walls, ash woods, and plenty of windows to maximize the views.
The main living area features floor-to-ceiling glass walls and provides access to a covered terrace. Once outside, a glass railing allows for unimpeded views overlooking the home’s rugged, but scenic surroundings.
