Parachute, perhaps best known for bedding, looks to be the furniture brand to watch thanks to its new Leather Sling Chair.
Parachute’s founder, Ariel Kaye, wanted to create a stylish chair for lounging, but also one that would withstand the test of time — especially with two toddlers running around the house. The look was inspired by mid-century Spanish design.
Parachute’s first furniture item is hand-crafted from sustainably sourced American White Oak Wood and high quality vegetable tanned Italian leather. The chair’s low and slightly slung back frame encourages relaxation. The leather will also patina into a darker tone and stretch over time, molding to your body.
At $1,500 the chair’s a steal for its high-quality construction and designer looks. Prepare to sit back and relax with a cocktail after placing your order here.
