Nobu is continuing to expand in the US as well as abroad. The luxury hospitality brand’s first location in Africa, Nobu Hotel Marrakech, is officially open for business.
Occupying the former former Pearl Marrakech, the new hotel blends traditional Moroccan culture and modern Japanese design. It’s located in the center of Marrakech’s “Golden Triangle” in the Hivernage district. Nearby attractions include exotic souks and Djemaa el-Fna.
Features include 71 guest suites, three swimming pools, and a 21,000-square-foot spa and fitness center. There’s even a rooftop garden with a pool deck, restaurant, and bar with 360-degree views of the city and the Atlas Mountains. Like any Nobu location, the real attraction is of course Nobu Restaurant, which in this location offers a taste of Japanese cuisine with a Moroccan twist.
