Google has revealed the latest Nest Thermostat, which has been redesigned from the ground up to offer a more minimalist look. The external wheel has been replaced by a new touch-sensitive surface. What hasn’t changed is the Nest Thermostat’s promise to help you save energy with features like Quick Schedule that lets you adjust temperatures at different times and days. It also combines your phone’s location data and motion-sensing technology to detect if you’re away from home, in which case it will automatically set the temperature to its Eco setting. At $129, the new Nest Thermostat is available in a variety of colors: white, dark grey, light pink, and light green. A color-matched trim kit is also available to cover up the holes left from your old thermostat for $14.99.
