Hamburg’s new Montblanc Haus is an exhibition and brand experience center that showcases the history of the finest penmaker in the world while also celebrating the art of writing.
Spread across three floors and nearly 40,000 sq. ft., the Montblanc Haus includes meeting rooms, archives, lounges, exhibition spaces, a café and a boutique. Designers at Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos wanted the space to create a conversation about the importance of writing.
Exhibits showcase the world of calligraphy, hand lettering and creative writing, as well as the handcrafted design, production, and history of Montblanc writing instruments. There are handwritten notes from the likes of Hemmingway and Einstein, and of course places to try out the latest from Montblanc.
