Apple has featured Touch ID on its devices for a very long time, promoting its ability to keep items like your iPhone that more secure.
While Apple has yet to extend this technology beyond its mobile devices, Microsoft has just added a fingerprint scanner to its latest keyboard, which is set to replace the Surface Keyboard.
The scanner is completely hidden within the sleek, modern, and all aluminum keyboard. The styling experience is flawless, as to give no indication to that a fingerprint scanner is at work. Additionally, the keyboard can be used either wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.0 or with a wired connect when it’s low on power.
Microsoft’s Modern Keyboard with Fingerprint ID will be available soon and is priced at $129.99.
