Italian automaker Maserati is adding another SUV to it’s lineup, the all-new Greale. When the new Greale arrives it will be available with multiple powertrain options, including a potent MC20 supercar sourced powerplant, as well as an all-electric version.
A base “GT” version of the Grecale will come with a four-cylinder mild-hybrid engine capable of nearly 300 horsepower. There’s also a “Modena” version featuring the same four-cylinder mild-hybrid engine tuned to produce 325 hp. A high-performance “Trofeo” version features the 523 hp V6 engine derived from the same one under the hood of the MC20 supercar. All come standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Grecale will also mark the debut of Maserati’s first all-electric SUV with a “Folgore” powered by 400V technology.
Aimed at mid-size rivals like the Porsche Macan, the new Maserati Greale will balance performance and high-end style. Inside, comforts include a large 12.3″ central screen paired with an 8.8″ control panel display. There’s even an optional 21-speaker 1285 watt 3D sound system from Sonus, not to mention a host of premium trim options.
The Maserati Greale arrives later this year.
