Lotus has unveiled the Emeya, the brand’s first-ever four-door “hyper-GT,” combining the performance and luxury of a grand tourer with the cutting-edge technology of a hypercar.
Powering Lotus’ latest electric vehicle is a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system that produces 905 horsepower and 985 pound-feet of torque. This allows the Emeya to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of over 155 mph. The Emeya’s battery pack is estimated to provide a range of over 300 miles, and it can be fast-charged from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes.
The Emeya’s design is both beautiful and aerodynamic. Advanced aerodynamic technologies include an active front grille and air dam that help to reduce drag and improve efficiency, while the car’s rear wing deploys at high speed to increase downforce.
Inside, the Emeya features a mix of sustainable materials and traditional luxury materials, such as Alcantara and Nappa leather. The Emeya also comes standard with a KEF-designed sound system, integrated road noise cancellation, a 55-inch projected augmented reality head-up display, and a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.
The Lotus Emeya is a truly groundbreaking vehicle that represents the future of electric luxury. Look for the Emeya to land stateside in 2025.
