The newly unveiled Eletre is Lotus‘ first-ever SUV. But since the British sports car brand was already late to the SUV, they went one step further, making the Eletre all-electric.
The Eletre has a 100kWh battery and produces over 600 horsepower while still managing to offer an impressive 373 miles (WLTP) of range. It’s performance also impresses, with a zero to 62 mph time of less than 3 seconds and a top speed of 161 mph.
Lotus built the Eletre with a new 800v EV architecture, allowing it to cover 248 miles after only a 20 minute charge using a 350kW fast charger.
Loads of innovative features and tech can be found inside, including sustainably-focused fabrics, an ultra-slim instrument panel, a 15″ OLED center console display, an interactive lighting system, and a heads up display with AR technology. There’s even an available 1,380 watt audio system that pumps 3D sound through 15 speakers.
The Lotus Eletre will arrive first in China, Europe, and the UK, with a global release date and prices to be announced soon.
