Livewire has revealed it’s newest all electric motorcycle, the S2. Once announced, Livewire’s first 100-unit limited Launch Edition models quickly sold out, even though final specs haven’t been released.
The new S2 Del Mar model aims to produces 80+ horsepower with a targeted weight of 435 lbs. It will also support both Level 1 and Level 2 charging. Range has been estimated at about 100 miles in city use and when it comes to performance, Livewire is expecting a zero to 60 mph time of 3.5 seconds or less.
Other features include 19-inch wheels, dirt track-style Dunlop DT1 tires, and a tapered tail section. A rear monoshock, USD fork, and Brembo brakes, together promise excellent handling to match the bike’s sporty tracker aesthetic.
The Livewire S2 Del Mar is expected to be priced around $15,000, with deliveries slated for Spring of next year.
