The newly unveiled 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk aims to be the ultimate SUV in terms of performance and capability.
In terms of on-road prowess, it’s officially one of the fastest SUVs in the world. It’s powered by the same 6.2-liter, 707 horsepower supercharged V8 as its Dodge Hellcat cousin, plus it’s got a bit more grip thanks to standard all-wheel drive. With this powertrain, the new Grand Cherokee Trackhawk can sprint from zero to 60 mph in an astonishing 3.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 180 mph.
Other features include an eight-speed automatic gearbox and highly functional styling enhancements, including a slit in the front fascia and an intake in place of the driver’s side foglight to optimize airflow and route more air to the engine.
Stopping power is assured thanks to large, 15.75-inch Brembo brakes up front, while the Bilstein adaptive damping suspension system provides a comfortable ride at speed.
