The Hyundai Santa Fe is going to be all-new for the 2024 model year, bringing with it a bold new design, a more spacious interior, and a host of new features.
Powertrains have not been announced, but it’s expected to keep the 2.5-liter four-cylinder, which puts out 277 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque in the current generation. The early look at the new model also shows the Santa Fe using Hyundai’s HTRAC all-wheel-drive system. There’s likely to be hybrid variants as well when it arrives in showrooms.
While what’s under the hood isn’t radical, the design certainly constitutes a major overhaul. Santa Fe’s new design is boxy, aggressive, and more stylish than the outgoing model. It could easily be mistaken for a Land Rover, thanks to a large grille, swept-back headlights, and a sculpted body.
A longer wheelbase makes for a more spacious interior and cargo area with three-rows of seats. There’s a new dashboard design as well and Hyundai’s added sustainable material options, plus all-new tech such as a Panoramic Curved Display and dual wireless charging.
