The second-generation Hyundai Kona EV is receiving an all-new look with an aerodynamic nose and a long hood. It’s now available with sporty elements like a carbon fiber front splitter and a rear diffuser. The N Line and N Line S models feature a more aggressive front end with high-gloss black mirrors and black alloy wheels.
The standard Kona EV packs a 48.4 kWh battery, and a long range model with a 65.4 kWh battery offers a maximum driving range of over 300 miles.
While the new exterior design is the main change, there are many more breakthrough features and advancements inside as well. There’s now a larger and more ergonomic infotainment display and the center console has also been updated with a premium look and more storage space. Even the seats have been reimagined to provide a more premium and sporty fit.
Kona EV will be in showrooms in the third quarter of the year. Pricing will be announced closer to its release date, but should be close to the current model which starts under $35,000.
