Grand Seiko has introduced a sleek watch that remixes the original “Birch” model from it’s Evolution 9 collection. It’s just the latest timepiece from Seiko’s ultra-premium watchmaking studios.
Replacing the standard white dial, the new SLGH017 “Night Birch” features a blacked-out finish inspired by white birth trees located in the Hiraniwa Plateau of Northern Japan.
The eye-catching dial is paired with a 40mm case and a matching bracelet, both constructed out of their high-intensity Titanium, which is both brighter and tougher than other grades of the material. Power comes by way of Grand Seiko’s 9SA5 Hi-Beat 36000 automatic movement, which has a 72-hour power reserve.
Grand Seiko’s Night Birch watch can be pre-ordered now and ships August 15th.
