Garmin has introduced the Venu 3 smartwatch, and with it a number of improvements over it’s Venu 2 and Venu 2 Plus models, especially around sleep tracking and personalization.
New features added to the Venu 3 include the ability to track your naps, in addition to your nighttime sleep, to give you a better understanding of your sleep patterns. A sleep coast is also included which provides personalized recommendations on how much sleep you need each night.
The Venu 3’s new Body Battery metric helps you track your energy levels throughout the day. This can help you to track how your activities and sleep are affecting your energy levels. There’s even an option to create your own interval workouts, so it’s perfect for runners, cyclists, and other athletes who want to improve their performance.
Garmin’s also made the smartwatch more inclusive, thanks to a new wheelchair mode that tracks pushes rather than steps. This makes it a more inclusive fitness tracker for wheelchair users.
Other features in the Venu 3 include a bright AMOLED touchscreen display, water resistance up to 50 meters, and the ability to receive notifications from your phone. It’s also got battery life of up to 14 days in smartwatch mode, longer than many other smartwatches.
The Garmin Venu 3 is available now for $450 for those looking for a fitness-focused smartwatch.
