For the ultimate wist-bound companion for all of your multi-sport activities, the new Garmin Forerunner 935 may be worth a look. This new fitness watch is durable and capable, helping runners, cyclists, and any type of athlete fine-tune their training.
Garmin’s 935 requires only a couple seconds to lock into a GPS signal. It features tools like Training Load, Training Status, and Training Effect, all of which provide you with data on your aerobic and anaerobic conditioning. It also tracks elevation changes with a built-in barometer and includes an altimeter and electronic compass that will help you keep your bearings. It even monitors your running form, including ground contact time balance, stride length, and more.
In watch mode, the battery is good for two weeks. In GPS mode, you’re good for about 24 hours, so you’re free to train the way you need to, wether you’re into running, cycling, hiking, climbing, or any number of activities that this watch is designed to track.
The 935 is now available for $499 for the watch only. For $649, Garmin also offers the watch as part of the Tri-Bundle, which includes a set of black bands, HRM-TRI monitor, HRM-Swim monitor, and a Quick release kit.
