For many, whole-home Wi-Fi coverage is challenge. The closer to the router you are, the better the connection. But rooms farther from the router, perhaps upstairs or in a remote bedroom, Wi-Fi signal becomes weak.
Eero’s mesh router is one way to solve those common issues. Instead of one router, Eero uses a system of mesh routers that provide seamless, whole-home Wi-Fi coverage everywhere you need it.
And now, the newest version of Eero’s innovative system just got even better. Eero’s second-generation hubs are twice as fast and have more range than the original Eero hubs — which are being has phased out.
The company has also introduced a new product, Eero Beacon. Beacon plugs directly into the wall and acts as a wi-fi extender, bringing fast Wi-Fi signal to hard to reach places or dead zones. It can extend Wi-Fi coverage, while being smaller and more affordable than a hub.
Eero also just introduced Eero Plus, a $10/month subscription service that adds an extra layer of security to your network, even protecting against ransomware, viruses, phishing scams, and more.
Both the Eero hub ($199/each) and Eero Beacon ($149) are on sale now.
