After 20 years of covering design, Dwell has made its own dwelling.
The home design magazine has introduced a sleek 540-square-foot, one-bedroom prefab accessory dwelling unit. The simple, yet refined structure features a cedar exterior, an aluminum roof, black Marvin windows, and custom lighting. The units also come furnished with Bosch appliances, engineered oak floors, and 12-foot folding glass doors that flood the interior with natural light.
The Dwell House is constructed, delivered, and installed in your backyard by Dwell’s partner Abodu. After orders are placed, it takes about six months for it to arrive.
The magazine wanted to create something that responds to contemporary life. With more people working remotely, the Dwell House is the perfect backyard addition and versatile enough to function as a guesthouse, home office, pool house, or fitness studio.
You can order your Dwell House on the magazine’s website.
