Cadillac is taking electric luxury to the next level with the introduction of the OPTIQ, their all-electric compact SUV.
The OPTIQ boasts a larger-than-average footprint for a compact SUV, offering a surprisingly roomy interior that redefines expectations in the segment. Imagine stretching out on long road trips or comfortably seating the whole crew – the OPTIQ makes it effortless. But the spaciousness doesn’t stop there. The OPTIQ integrates a massive 33-inch display with a jaw-dropping 9K resolution. It’s like having a home theater on wheels, offering crystal-clear visuals and an intuitive interface for controlling everything from navigation to entertainment.
Standard Super Cruise hands-free driving technology lets you take the back seat (figuratively speaking) on long journeys, while a premium Dolby Atmos-compatible AKG sound system delivers immersive audio with custom-tuned speakers and a powerful amplifier.
While comfortable, the OPTIQ is also a powerhouse. A standard dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivers 300 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque, ensuring a thrilling driving experience. Plus, the OPTIQ boasts an impressive 300-mile range thanks to its 85kWh battery pack. And when it’s time to recharge, the OPTIQ can add up to 79 miles of range in just 10 minutes with a DC fast charger.
Additional features on the OPTIQ include an array of advanced sensors and cameras, a full suite of standard driver-assistance systems, and Google built-in technology for seamless connectivity.
Production for the Cadillac OPTIQ begins this fall and is priced around $54,000.
