Maying a home blend in with nature is more difficult than meets the eye. The shape, materials, and impact on it’s environment, requires a symbiotic relationship to truly merge. That’s something Brazil’s Jacobsen Arquitetura has perfected with its MH House. The minimalistic dwelling perched atop the coastline of Sao Paulo, seems to be delicately inserted into Brazil’s lush countryside. Even the architect’s choices in building materials seem to subtly mimic the colors and textures of surrounding foliage. Although very modern, there’s also something inherently rustic about the MH House, as if to be careful not to let’s the home’s incredible surroundings be outshined by overly blingy fixtures.
