Bell & Ross is exceeding good at creating military inspired timepieces. For its new Vintage collection, the Swiss watchmaker this time was influenced by the Coast Guard and the pilots and divers involved in sea rescue operations.
The design of the two new Vintage watches immediately conjure images of the Coast Guard, thanks to grey, white and orange accents. The collection includes a standard three-hand model and a chronograph, both of which get updated third generation 41mm cases, a range of strap and bracelet options, and an automatic movement.
Luminescent coating guarantees readability, even in darkness. Both watches are also water resistant to 100 meters. The orange color is visible at great distances — essential during sea rescues — and makes the watches easy to read. Features like these are precisely what professionals on the high seas require.
These watches will be available soon at Bell & Ross retailers, as well as the watchmaker’s own website. When they arrive, the three hander will retail for $2,900 while the chronograph will be priced at $4,600.
