Wagons may not be in high demand in the States, but that may change with the availability of the new RS 6 Avant. Finally arriving on our shores in 2020, Audi’s high-performance wagon is powered by a 591 horsepower 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that absolutely launches this hatch to 60 mph from a standstill in a mere 3.6 seconds, before reaching a governed top speed of 155 mph. Power is routed through an eight-speed transition and of course quattro all-wheel-drive for sure-footed grip. The RS 6 Avant will also feature an adaptive air suspension to deliver the best ride for virtually any driving condition, including a configurable high-performance mode for track days. Compared to non-RS models, the new wagon is also 1.6 inches wider for an aggressive stance to match its bold performance pedigree.
