Jet black is no longer the newest, sexiest iPhone color available. That honor now goes to Red. As part of Apple’s partnership with nonprofit Product (RED), the iPhone 7 is now available in bright ruby red. As with other (RED)-branded Apple devices, this new color option is aimed at promoting ongoing efforts by Product (RED) to combat HIV and AIDS worldwide.
A portion of every iPhone (RED) sale will be donated to The Global Fund, a charitable organization that finances HIV/AIDS grants to roughly half a dozen countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
The iPhone (RED) is officially on sale now in Apple Stores, as well as numerous retailers nationwide. With a matte, ruby red finish that stands out while also masking fingerprints, the iPhone (RED) is definitely worth a look if you’re looking to upgrading to the iPhone 7. The 128GB and 256GB versions of the iPhone 7 start at $750 and $850, respectively. The larger iPhone 7 Plus 125GB goes to $870, while the iPhone 7 plus 256GB can be had for $970.
