The incredible sound quality of the Apple HomePod is now available in a smaller, and cheaper, package. The new HomePod Mini is a compact, spherical speaker priced at $99 and boasts a custom full-range driver with a pair of force-cancelling passive radiators for big sound and big bass despite its small form factor. It also has enhanced Siri support with improved smart home controls and a new feature called Intercom that lets you send voice messages to other HomePods around the house. It’s powered by the same S5 chip that can be found in the Apple Watch Series 5, and the speaker even automatically adjusts the audio to optimize performance in any room. It arrives November 16 in space gray or white.
