Soon after updating its base Kindle e-reader, Amazon’s given the Kindle Paperwhite a needed upgrade as well.
Storage is improved with the latest model thanks to the additional of a 16GB option — just $10 more doubles your storage compared to the base 8GB model.
The new Paperwhite also gets brighter, 6.8″ 300 ppi glare-free Paperwhite display, a battery life of up to ten weeks, an IPX8 rating adds water resistant and even allows it to be submerged for up to an hour. The backlight can also be adjusted to make text easier to read, even in low-light conditions.
Amazon’s Kindle Paperwhite is available exclusively here through the online retailer starting from $140.
