A host of premium features have come to Amazon’s entry-level Kindle e-reader for 2022.
For staters, readers will appreciate the new design that’s more compact and lightweight, measuring 6 inches diagonally and weighing just over 5.5 ounces.
The 11th generation Kindle also has more premium features, like a 300 pixel-per-inch count display (compared to the 167 ppi of the previous model). It also has improved battery life that lasts up to six weeks, plus it can be fully charged in just two hours via USC-C. Up to 16GB of storage is available to hold thousands of books.
If you’ve been looking to get an e-reader to manage your library, the much improved 11th gen Amazon Kindle is a good entry point at $99. It’s available now for pre-orders with deliveries slated for October 12th.
