Acura has officially revived the Integra Type S nameplate for the 2024 model year. The new Integra Type S is a high-performance version of the redesigned Integra, which Acura reintroduced for the 2023 model year.
The Integra Type S is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 306 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission — a rarity in the compact sports sedan segment.
Acura’s added a number of performance-oriented upgrades to the Integra Type S, including a sport-tuned suspension, Brembo brakes, and a limited-slip differential. The car rides on 19-inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires.
Inside, the Integra Type S gets a number of unique features, including sport seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and aluminum pedals. The car also features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Acura’s True Touchpad interface.
The Acura Integra Type S is priced starting at $37,700. It arrives in showrooms in the fall of 2023.
