Audi’s giving their Q5 SUV a full makeover for 2025, and while it’s hitting dealer lots in May, things are a little…unusual. Turns out, the current Q5 is also being called a 2025 model. Confusing, we know. But the big takeaway is that this redesigned version, riding on a new platform with more standard kit, is coming in with a higher starting price – we’re talking around $52,200 to jump in, compared to the previous gen’s $45,400.
You’ll have your pick of Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige trims, along with either a 268 hp 2.0-liter turbo four or a beefier 362 hp 3.0-liter turbo six in the SQ5. Quattro all-wheel drive and a dual-clutch S tronic gearbox are standard across the board for the US market. Interestingly, we’re missing out on the mild-hybrid tech that Europe gets, but these engines still pack a punch. Expect a sharper exterior and a tech-filled interior that echoes the new A5 and A6. If you’re after the latest from Audi in a stylish and capable SUV, the 2025 Q5 is on its way, just be ready for a bit of a price bump.
