Lucid Motors is shaking up the luxury electric vehicle segment with a refreshed 2024 Air lineup featuring a streamlined model structure, a wealth of new standard features and options, and significant price reductions.
The entry point to the Air family is the Pure, offering an impressive 419 miles of range, a brisk 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds, and rear-wheel drive. It now comes standard with the Comfort & Convenience package, adding a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, soft-close doors, four-zone climate control, and power rear window sunshades. New options include 14-way or 20-way power front seats, ventilation and massage functionality for the front seats, and a wider selection of interior color and material themes.
Moving up to what’s likely the most sough-after model, the Air Touring receives a significant price cut, starting at $85,900. It boasts an impressive 411 miles of range, a thrilling 3.4-second 0-60 mph time, and all-wheel drive. Standard features include stylish 19″ Aero Range wheels, luxurious PurLuxe leather-free upholstery, and comfortable 12-way power seats. The Air Touring can be further enhanced with the Comfort & Convenience package, a power open and close frunk, and heated precision wipers. New options include a captivating Fathom Blue paint option and premium natural grain and Nappa full-grain leather upholstery.
Topping out the range is the Air Grand Touring, which will also see a lower starting price (final price to be announced) and features a blistering 3.0-second 0-60 mph time. Standard features include a sleek body-colored aluminum roof, PurLuxe leather-free upholstery, and 12-way power front seats. The desirable glass canopy roof is now optional, offering the same wide range of options available on the Air Touring.
The 2024 Air Pure and Air Touring are ready to roll, with orders open now. This is a significant move for Lucid, showcasing their commitment to a more accessible and value-packed lineup while maintaining their high standards for luxury and performance.
