Audi’s flagship electric SUV is more electrifying for 2024, with more power and a slew of meaningful upgrades.
The 2024 SQ8 E-Tron EV is powered by three electric motors — one for the front and axle and two at the rear — that combined yield 496 horsepower and 718 lb-ft of torque. That’ll launch the SQ8 from zero to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds in boost mode on it’s way to an electronically limited 130 mph. The SQ8 E-Tron EV has a range of up to 253 miles on a single charge.
The SQ8 E-Tron EV is built on Audi’s new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, which is designed specifically for electric vehicles. The PPE architecture allows for a spacious interior and a long wheelbase, which gives the SUV a comfortable ride.
Standard niceties on the SQ8 E-Tron include a panoramic sunroof, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and a 12.3-inch HD digital instrument cluster. It also features a number of advanced driver-assistance features, such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking.
The newly revamped Audi SQ8 E-Tron and SQ8 E-Tron Sportback arrive in showrooms later this year. It will start at $90,000.
