The BMW X7, the German brand’s biggest SUV, is getting a slew of updates for 2023.
Most notably, the X7 is receiving a mild redesign with BMW’s latest design language. Upfront this includes new headlights and kidney grille with cascade lighting (standard on the M60i model) and satin aluminum accents on the lower air intakes. The rear lights have also been updated with a new 3D design.
Under the hood will be a 380-horsepower six-cylinder on the xDrive40i model, with a 40-hp increase over the outgoing engine that helps the base X7 sprint to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds. There’s also a 530-hp V8 with the M60i xDrive. All of the engines will include 48V mild hybrid technology and an all-new eight-speed Steptronic transmission.
Interior features include a massive digital dashboard with a 12.3″ information display and a 14.9″ control display, a new instrument panel with slim air vents, new driver assistance systems, BMW Digital Key Plus for all X7 models. Plus, an Alpina XB7 model is also set to launch in early 2023.
The refreshed 2023 BMW X7 will arrive at the end of the year starting at $78,845.
